GM netappmagic,

You may wish to use your NOW login -> Downloads -> Software -> (http://support.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/software/)

Depending on your protocol, you may pick FC Host Utilities or iSCSI Host Utilities

Don't forget Multipath as well

Good luck & Good Saturday

OK netappmagic,

For Linux I use the native MPIO tools that the operating system provides, with the exception of Windows prior to 2008. (We can use either native or our own MPIO plugin with Windows 2008 and greater)

The Linux version is called DM-MPIO and should be present in all modern Linux distributions. You should check the NetApp Interoperability Matrix to make sure the RHL system, FCP cards, etc., are supported by NA.

Take a look at the link below:

https://support.netapp.com/products/interoperability/

Good luck & Happy Saturday

Hi,

You can download this under download software section, select FC Host Utilities and the host type.

Thanks,

I am using iscsi, not fc

I have iscsi-initiator-utils on Linux, but how do I know I am really using it?

I have done with setting up luns on Linux server, however, the performance is very very slow. I use luns for Oracle ASM disks.

thanks!

i have 1Gbit eth card. There are not too much I/O at all, this is just test server, and small DB. it took more than 12 hours for things usually only took about less than half hour. Are there anything I can tune?

Thanks for your message
