Since two months ago We have been losing connectivity to a shared folder located in our Netapp storage. We thought it was a network issue but it is not because everything works fine when we lose access to the folder. So we decided to check on the Oncommand System and we saw the next error:
"Data ONTAP API Failed: Cannot execute command: CIFS is in the process of stopping. (Error: 13201)"
ok. i'm afraid it dosen't correlate to a bug i found last week (where the controller in takeover).
With this unsupported version - i think your best bet is to do a cifs terminate and cifs restart by yourself. or even a failover and giveback by yourself, note that it's likely be somewhat disruptive to CIFS users. also note that this is an open community, and recommendation here should not be taken as granted, we cannot see your environment and asses it's readiness for operation such a failover.
