Hi all:
I am having the following error when running the disk assign command in a LUN (from DS8000) presented to a Vfiler.
> disk assign SANFA02:6-7.140L34
disk assign: Assign failed because disk SANFA02:6-7.140L34 has non redundancy errors.
A total of 56 LUNs where presented but only 11 are having the issue. I have checked the LUNs on the DS8000 and they are online.
Any ideas?

Does storage show disk -p have a missing second path for these 11 Luns?

No. it doesn't. It is showing both paths for those 11 LUNs.

Data ONTAP 8.0.x and 8.1.x 7-Mode require two paths to an array LUN;more than two paths to an array LUN are not supported. |

Hello Victor and Hello all,
i have the same Problem. Have somebody found a solution for this.
Assign failed because disk has redundancy errors and force option not specified.
How can i verify how many Paths to the LUN the filer sees ?
By executing a "storage show disk -p", there are 2 Paths to each Disk shown.
Thanks,
Edmond
