Failover ISCSI Cluster

Hi,

I have a filer which is connected in ISCSI to a Hyper-Cluster.

Each node of Hyper-V has one NIC, in LAN which can join de ISCSI's filer.

When I launch a manual Takeover on Netapp, the cluster loose the ISCSI and the Virtual Machines shutdown. It doesn't reconnect to the ISCSI.

I also have a second ISCSI connected to an other server which contains data. When I run a takeover, the ISCSI shutdown but it reconnects after 40 seconds. It seems that the issue appears only for Hyper-V clusters.

My Luns's type are "Windows 2008 or later".

Have you an idea ?

Best regards.

Hi,

Refer KB 2021967 SVM does not provide iSCSI LUN after failover.(requires login)

Hi,

I followed this KB (Page 21) but I see only one target. I can't follow the step 8 : https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_download_file/ECMP1287600

Do you have an idea ?

Regards.

Hi,

It means that there are no multiple paths to the storage. Please check your network connections and LIF settings.Refer page 7 on the same link.

Hi,

I see that each SVM has 4 lifs with differents IP :

What's more, when I check the protocols in ISCSI configuration of the SVM, there's 4 lifs :
