Getting feedback from cli commands?

Is there anyway to configure the ONTAP cli to give you feedback when you run a command? For instance:

nfs modify -vserver myvserver01 -vstorage disabled

Is silent when you run it, are you able to get some kind of output like "Value changed", or "Nothing changed".

Clustered ONTAP 8.3 if that matters.

I am afraid there is no such option to enable the output for a command and disable it when needed. Usually the status is cross checked after executing the command.
