Hello Experts,
I want to do the following as a part of an assessment:
1. Find aggregates over 80% utilization state and then optimize them online(by ARL or DataMotion etc).
2. Find unwanted snapshots across the board and then delete them.
3. To optimize space savings, on volumes run dedup, data-compression and data compaction together/independently.
4. Find LUNs which are not mapped to any hosts and cleanup them.
5. Optimize quota size, Volume size.
6. Find the data volumes which are replicated.
7. Make sure flash cache is turned on and configured correctly on applicable nodes.
8. Find if AV Scan configuration is configured or not.
9. Find if system CPU, Memory usage on each node is not more than 50% used.
10. Determine the ethernet usage, distribute network load across ports etc.
11. Check the system status is multipath HA for all HA pairs in the cluster.
How can above be done. Please advise on how some of the above can be accomplished quickly and provide the steps/links to guides etc. Much appreciated.
