How to: add a default gateway to a storage virtual machine

This is an Ontap 8.3.1 custer.

I can't find a way to add the default gateway to a svm - I have the following svm that exists but was set up without a gateway on a shared lif:

So, several svms share this lif.  For some reason the cifs svm was set up on the same VLAN as the nfs svm. I can ping 10.2.48.101 from outside the subnet but not 10.2.48.101.

How do I set up a default gateway for ths nfs svm? Why can I ping the cifs svm and not the nfs svm is they share the same routing group?
