We have a set of Snaplocked volumes on my 7-mode filer for which the compliance clock is incorrect.
We need to correct these volumes and then the retention of the files manually.
To get this started we plan to migrate the data to a new volume and then will update all files to the max retention of that volume.
What would be the best way to migrate the data? Also is there any alternate that anyone can suggest?

I understand that Snapmirror and NDMP copy won't be an option as the volume metadata will also get copied.
