We are thinking about testing SMB encryption impact on our NAS-filer (meaning server-client SBM share based or vserver encryption). Is there a way to measure impact it has on the filer? I'm familiar with "perfstat"-type perf analysis, but can't find a counter which points to SVM encryption.
We would like to do base run, then run with encryption on and compare the results.
