Hello,

A customer is trying to configure his monitoring application to be able to catch snmp traps for tiebreaker.

He is not able to find them in the mib file 2.11 taken from his ONTAP systems.

Based from our documentation:

It says these traps are part of MIB NetApp file.

25000, 25001, 25002, 25005

Could you please help me to identify which MIB NetApp file this documentation is refering to?

Thank you.

Regards,

Hello @Quang-Chinh,

The traps you are looking for are indeed in the  MetroCluster Tiebreaker 1.21 MIB file located at the bottom of the following page: SNMP MIB Downloads.

You can download and open the MIB file and search for the TRAP ID.

This article describes the procedure to check the version of the MIB file that is required for upload to a monitoring server.

Hello,

Customer is using MIB 2.11 and can't find the traps specified into this file.

Do you know where we can find these traps? Into which mib file, if it exists?

Thank you.
