Migrating the files from windows host to netapp filer.

Hello All,

we have windows Host in Location1 & want to migrate some files from windows box to Netapp filer in other location2 through 45Mbps pipe.

can you people suggest me how to accomplish this task either  OSSV or any other way..?

Does the file copy using "robocopy" or "securecopy" sound reasonable to you ? OSSV is one way of copying the data to the NetApp systems, these other ones are the simple copy/migration tools for the files while preserving the permissions.

I would recommend too using robocopy because I have used this in very big setups and they work so seemless that it's hard to ignore them, free and with full dashboard to tune every parameter you may want...
