Hi Folks,
In my environment cluster got failover and also after recovery we are not able to give cluster giveback.We registered a case with netapp they recommended to upgrade the firmware.While upgrading they come with the solution of netboot .what is the generic use and use in this scenario?

Hi
Not being able to giveback is most often related to not knowing how and where to do the giveback. And sometimes it is because the failed partnernode is not in "Giveback" mode.
FW upgrades can be done on the System Console prompt.
netboot needs a "netboot kernel" locatable on a tftp or http server, and then use a sysntax like this...
