Network Interface

Hi there,

Our network team just moved one vlan over to the new firewall.  As a result users couldn't access that share on the vlan.   We immediately disabled the ethernet ports on both nodes (a0a-188) on the NetApp interface and it resolved the issue.   See attached image.

My question is by disabling the ethernet port , how does it continue to work?  The export policy allows the volume to be accessed from a few vlans including the one in question.  How should we go about fixing this issue besides disabling the ethernet port. Does the solution have to start with the network team?  We have a few more vlans that need to be moved.

We are on version 9.7 P22

Thanks,

TT

I was able to view the user's workstation that originally reported the issue.  From her workstation, she had access to that share via multiple vlans.  The mapped drive was mapped to X80 vlan.

The networking team moved X88 vlan which caused her mapped drive to freeze until we disabled that lif.

So any recommendations as to how we fix this issue if we need to move more vlans to the new firewall. Maybe the user needs to logout and back into the workstation?  Unfortunate I was out on vacation when all of this happened so I am relaying back the information.
