ONTAP 8.3.1. SVM DR NFS and ESX

Hi

I want to understand if I can use SVM-DR for vmware NFS datastore disaster recovery.

I tried it as described, SVM DR moved volmes and interface to the DR site, but vmware does not recognize that NFS datastore anymore. So I need to readd datastore and all VMs to inventory.

This is because of changed FSID probably.

Question is

1. Is it possible to change FSID?

2. Is there any workaround to use SVM DR for vmware DR?

Preserving the FSID, too my knowledge, it's not going to be available until 8.4 or maybe 8.3.2.  

 

I'm not aware of a work-around
