ONTAP Update possible with high CPU utilization?

We are planning an update from 9.3P3 to 9.3P6 soon. The command 'cluster image validate -version 9.3P6' always throws high CPU utilization on a node (4-node-cluster). Is the update still possible, or does the update not even start? The high CPU load is mainly caused by the NFS environment.

It'll do the update, but you might hit a performance impact depending on the load that the HA partner has to take on.

Consider using Unfied Manager to see what volumes can be moved around and rebalance the HA pair / Cluster.

upgrade will start and when its time for the node4 failover to its partner may impact.

so before the upgrade best to move your work load to different nodes that has enough CPU room and then take the UPgrade route.

if no workload can be moved then best to do this change during the maintenace window as it may distrub some of the services running on node4

The update works fine, no problems with the CPU utilization. Thanks for your replies.
