SDW 6.4.1 with cDOT 8.1.2 issue: possible lun size is depends on whole aggr size rather than vol

Hi Gurus

In my lab, I installed SDW 6.4.1 in VM with cDOT 8.1.2 and vSphere 5.1 ,  from VM,  I use SDW to create a LUN at a VServer of cDOT.  I found a issue.  see below.

For the volume I plan to place the LUN,  the size is about 2GB (of coz, it's thin-provision  vol)  but For lun size, the maximum accept lun size is the size of whole aggregate rather than volume.  is it normal or expected behavior?

I guess the root cause is that the LUN created by SDW is thin-provision LUN.  but I did not found where I could select thick or thin when use SDW to create a LUN.

I found

1) if the volume is thin-provision,  the max. acceptable LUN size is depends on aggr size

2) if the volume is thick-provisoon, the max. acceptable LUN size is depends on vol size.

Is it make-sense?
