I have a separate VM running SMSQL that I use as my verification server with SQL 2008 R2 installed on it. I have a separate cluster running SQL 2008 R2 and another one running SQL 2005. Is it ok for me to use the verification server to verify backups from SQL 2005, or do I have to stand up another verification server running SQL 2005? Thanks!
