I'm working on a solution for a new FAS25xx deployment where a customer is wanting to archive data out to tape, and as such I'm looking at using Backup Exec 2014/15 with NDMP option.
First - does this support SMTape or just dump backups?
If I can do SMTape, then from what I'm reading I see that I can carry out incremental and differential style backups .. so, would I be right in thinking (and hoping as we're trying to keep control of costs) that we could cut down on the number of tapes required?
