Hi. I'm looking at various options for a customer to get backups of their CIFS data snapshots onto tape. The filer is a 2240 and I'm looking at SnapProtect as one option. Is it supported or
recommended to put DFM and the various SnapProtect components on a single server? We're trying to keep things simple and need a single-server solution. The server will also connect to a SAS autoloader and utilize remote NDMP to stream the data to tape. (We are also looking at using BackupExec with the NDMP option.)
