Snaplock and Veeam

Hi Guys,

 

Is there anyone who uses Snaplock volumes as a destination for Veeam Backup? I would appreciate your feedback...

Snapshots are already read only and can protect against ransomware attacks to an extent. For the additional protection of snaplock volumes and aggregates you can use the following guide for setup.

While I've never seen a customer use this configuration in their environment personally. I don't see a problem with the configuration to set up Veeam to create snapshots that would take advantage of snaplock.

I would be interested in how to use Snaplock File locking for a Veeam Backup. (Lets say as a Ransomware Protection). Are they any Customer who using that?
