I have a simulator running with 8.2.3 7-Mode with snaprestore license. Created a 100GB volume and attached as iSCSI Lun to the ESXi server, now out of 100GB only 50GB is the free space.

Tried to created the snapshot for the volume and used the following command to perform the snap restore of the lun that exisiting in the volume

snap restore ........

Now the command executed succesfully but the restored lun is not shown when given the command "lun show".

How to know the status of the snap restore command, is there a way i can delete the snapshot...

Hi

Refer https://kb.netapp.com/support/index?page=content&id=1010151 to delete busy snapshots.

Refer https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_get_file/ECMP1113990 page 67 to revert a volume to a snapshot.

Check logs from /etc/messages to check the status of snaprestore.
