Upgrade Advisor

I work for a secure site and my systems don't show up on ActiveIQ for security reasons. Is there a way for me to use upgrade advisor? I am planning to upgrade from ONTAP 9.1 to 9.8.

Thank you.

Hello @Fuad ,

You can remove sensitive data from ASUPs by enabling remove sensitive data in the ASUP configuration when enabling them. This will purge host names, IPs and other sensitive data from the AutoSupports before sending:

Upgrade advisor uses Autosupports to generate, without an uploaded Autosupport, it will not generate.

You can follow normal proceedures, but it may not warn you of specific actions or burts to be cautious about.

Thank you so much Aladd for your response. Is there a way to strip the IPs and any identifying info from ASUPS when sending them to NetApp?
