I got a task to move a volume from one aggregate to another aggregate in the same netapp cluster .

We are using GUI oncommand system manager for this.
The volume which am moving is the mirror volume of primary site. Before initiating the volume movement, Do i need to stop the snapmirror ?

Hi

You don't need to stop the snapmirror before volume move.

The source volume of a SnapMirror or SnapVault relationship can be moved while the volume is being mirrored. SnapMirror services encounter a brief pause during the cutover phase of the volume move job.
