Hello, We have a space reserved LUN presented to a Windows 2019. Customer decided to use ReFS to format it. Today we noticed that from the windows host perspective there is more consumed space than reported by ONTAP CLI ou System Manager. LUN is almost full (96%) from windows disk management GUI. ONTAP reports it as having (85%) of consumed space. ONTAP is 9.5. The LUN is used for SQL Server data files. Does anyone know what could be? Regards, Pedro

As per Tr-4571 best practice for a FAS based flexgroup is 2 aggregates per node. What would be the conequences of adding a 3rd aggregate per node. Environment 6 node FAS8200 cluster 3x DS460C shelves per pair loaded with 10TB drives ONTAP 9.7P5 2 data aggregates per node ~288TB per aggr Aggregates are 42x 10TB drives 12 drive RAID-TEC raid groups. 4 member volumes per aggr, ~68TB so far so comforming to the Tr Single flexgroup spans the cluster and is approaching 95% full Customer has additional shelves available and would like to expand the flexgroup. Adding an aggregate breaks the 2 per node best practice rule Adding a raid group breaks the 400TB aggr size limit So without adding nodes what would the implications be of adding a 3rd aggregate per node. I'm loath to break best practice

Hello, For ONTAP select, there are ongoing issues with the Default IPspace. Does anyone have any resolutions? It appears that the "patch" 9.8p1 does not resolve the problem with missing Default IPspace. After applying patch, 3 out of 4 nodes in cluster still do not have an IPspace called "Default" assigned to any interfaces. This patch DID resolve the problem on a single node cluster, just not for a 4-node ONTAP Select cluster. Thoughts, suggestions?

When looking at the description of netapp_ontap.resources.snapmirror_relationship class it looks like only XDP relations are supported: "This API manages asynchronous extended data protection (XDP) relationships for FlexVols, FlexGroups, or SVMs." ref: https://library.netapp.com/ecmdocs/ECMLP2858435/html/resources/snapmirror_relationship.html I have also confirmed that when querying filers with a mixture of DP and XDP relations, only XDP's are returned in the json object. like: GET "/api/snapmirror/relationships/" Is there any way to make API to include DP relations, at least for reporting purposes ? Thanks
