Hello and sorry for my english. I installed new Windows server. On this server i connected ISCSI LUN where will be store Data. This LUN is on my first cluster with ISCSI, 2 IP, one for each node. No, i have second cluster, so i want to create disaster recovery. In relationship protection, i can do with Volume and select my DATA volume on first cluster OR i can do LUN Protection and select my LUN/volume on first cluster. But i not sure what is the best to select between the 2 ? volume or LUN ? what the difference ? if the first cluster is down, i want to start on second cluster. If i select LUN, ISCSI IPs from first cluster will move on second cluster if i do fall over ? thanks a lot

Hello. My customer has been using ontap 9.7p4 for NFS v3 Service ( nfs clients would be cent os7), and they want to test restore a single file from snapshot directory. However the snapshot directory always shows as question mark like below on root account, I can not access it anymore . I reviewed this page https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/393598/linux-local-directory-permissions-as-question-marks-for-non-root but I couldn't apply execute permission to snapshot directory because the error showed that it is read only filesystem. How can I access it?

Hi, we got a new 2554 shipped with 8.3 but want to downgrade to 8.2 7-Mode. Since i dont want to deal with c-dot at the moment we canceled system setup and played with it a little before wiping it the first time. Now our first image has 8.3 still and the backup image is 8.2.3 (installed via system node image update ftp server. When i boot from backup within the boot manager i still cant 8.2.3 usable since its makeing a kernel dump and reboots again and again. Whats the easiest way (AND FAST !!! ) to wipe it (we have no data on it and not used it at all so far) and get 8.2.3 running ? I dont want/need to wipe all disks with that initialization menu since it takes 7 hours before i can start setup again. any help appreciated. BTW i really would like to have 7-Mode instead of 8.2.3 Cluster Mode at the end thanks
