on Linux NFS file system, you can do "du .snapshots", but this is not the real space of how much SnapShot being used. I can tell on NetApp filers. Is there anyway I can tell on Linux?

We realized that we are not able to connect to one of the the 2 Controllers with a Windows Client on a FAS2240-2 / NetApp Release 8.2.5P3 7-Mode . Checking the connection via port 445 showed that 445 on controller one is not open, even if the CIFS configuration was performed with success. Is there a way to check open Ports and also a way to open them if needed ?

We have vscan servers in production for multiple SVMs. 1. how can we find out the statistics of VSCAN such as how many scans completed, how many virus detected and cleaned, how many scan processes queued? 2. how can we find out if vscan servers too busy and more servers need to be added? 3. if any VSCAN servers or connections issues, will we get alerts or notitcations? 4. is there any VSCAN information integrated with active IQ? 5. happened a few times already, we had cifs share access issues, had to stop vscan services to regain the access. we plan to set -vscan-fileop to writes-only, and add excluvise list, are they good ideas? 6. what is the regular vscan daily monitoring? thanks advance.

The old 7-mode versions of Ops Manager and System Manager require Adobe Flash, which will cease working on Google Chrome on 12/31/2020. While I know 7-mode is on the way out, there are still a few 7-mode systems out there (we have three 2220's left running 7-mode). Are there any considerations being given to update or change these applications to not require Adobe Flash?

"HA Group Notification from node1 (SNAPMIRROR SYNCHORONOUS EXCEPTION: Splitter critical threshold breached [OWM]) NOTICE" alert we received recently. However, we don't find any error on the snapmirror sync. All synced normally. I tried to find more information about how this Splitter work in snapmirror. but seems fewer information for public. I can only found "The splitter sends the I/O to both primary and secondary storage systems over the interconnect replication network." on the site. My question is 1. How does the splitter work in snapmirror? 2. In what circumstances that splitter threshold will be breached? 3. What is the splitter threshold? where I can print the policy out? Seems it can be turn on/off only? 4. How to troubleshoot if we encounter such error for splitter?
