Hi Everyone..
Actually we have FAS2240 with Data Ontap 8.1.4P1 7-Mode and Filer-A had failed. So we have replaced with New one.
But unfortunately forgot to swap Flash Card from failed filer to new filer.
In result the New Filer is having Ontap 8.2P3 7-Mode has been configured that newer version then we have in out system.
So system is running but Takeover feature has been disabled due to ontap mismatch.
strga> cf status
strgb is up, takeover disabled because of reason (version mismatch)
strga has disabled takeover by strgb (version mismatch)

VIA Interconnect is up (link up).
So now we have two options here, one need to upgrade Filer-B to 8.2P3 or downgrade Filer-A to 8.1.4P1.
But to perform both we need those Ontap Firmware. we have tried to search Netapp Support but unable to find any version blow 8.5
So I need help here if someone pls share link to download above version will be really helpful to me
Thank You

Are there any plans to provide a way to combine the constituents of a flexgroup into a flexvol? At this time I am told you have to actually copy the data and this would require the source volume to be read only during the transfer and that is not practical. Or use an external tool.

Hi, I explain my case: We have to migrate a SQL cluster environment to new servers and new netapp (previous storage also netapp). We have made SnapMirror for Mon RDM (4 Mon). We see that you have copied everything exactly the same, but what changes is the serial number of the lun and the ID. Steps: We stop CLuster SQL. We turn off the 2 VMs. We disconnect the RDM disks from the 2 VMs. We update and break snapmirror. We present the new LUNs to the new servers. We migrate the machines to the new servers and storage. We edit the configuration and add the RDM disks exactly the same (only to the first VM). We turn on the VM and find that the cluster does not start. In the disk manager the disks appear in "offline" mode and it does not allow us to put it online, because it says that the failover cluster is managing it. In the failover cluster the disks appear disconnected and if we connect them there is an error. Any ideas? Should the LUN ID be the same as the source ID? thanks,

Running NetApp AFF C250 with SSD drives as a backup target. Volume is connected to Windows 2022 server via iSCSI. NetApp Release 9.14.1P1 I have deleted around 10TB from that volume, using Windows Explorer. System Manager and CLI still show that volume has 8TB of data and dedup+compression metadata. When it will be deleted and how can I avoid it in the future? Thanks a lot, in advance!

Hello, I am testing the MAV (Multi-Admin Verify) feature. I just stumbled across the limitation that it doesn't work with SnapCenter yet, so that leaves our CIFS Servers. I set up a rule with the following parameters: Operation "volume snapshot delete" Query "-vserver <vserver>" (where "<vserver>" is the CIFS Server) However, my test SnapCenter job, which runs against volumes in a different SVM, still kicks off multiple MAV requests when it tries to auto-delete older snapshots outside of the retention period. Did I miss something in the syntax? Any advice?
