We are using Fabricpool with Azure blob storage. From time to time, we receive object store unavailable error message. Upon further investigation, we could see firewall in Azure is dropping packets due to the reason of "First Packet not SYN". There are multiple cases open with vendors from NetApp, Firewall and Microsoft and none of them have found the issue so far. I am suspecting the Azure Load Balancer in front of FW nodes could be the culprit because session persistence is set to none but no one can really confirm this setting is required. I've exhausted all my options at this point and would like to know anyone have experience similar problem in the past.

Important information for all NetApp customers using the new A70/A90/A1K:
Being the customer who experienced the issue and helped NetApp to identify it I feel responsible to inform this community about the real possible fatal effects like we faced them, because the description in the Customer Bulletin below does not reflect the worst things that can happen.
Due to this issue, you may face true data corruption without a chance to detect it immediately.
(NetApp Support Site - JiraNgage - CONTAP-348855)
It means Clients/Applications/Databases read data and receive the wrong content "silently". Now, you need to know that the majority of applications does not have a mechanism, which is checking this and will therefore possibly not realize that the data is wrong.
SU575: [Impact: Critical] SAN connected hosts may experience intermittent read checksum validation errors when hosted in LUNs or NMVe namespaces on specific NetApp platforms - NetApp Knowledge Base
I would strongly recommend to talk to NetApp before using these systems in production environments . I fix for 9.15.1 should be available soon. (I assume NetApp will not seriously recommend to use 9.16.1RC1 on productive environments)

Hi, all my clusters are sending their syslogs via their node_mgmt interfaces, except for one. In this one (2-node cluster) one node sends via node_mgmt and the other via cluster_mgmt. Because of how my company validates the syslog sources, I need all my syslogs to come from the node_mgmt interfaces, but there's no way to force it to. Why is one cluster behaving like this? When I migrate the cluster_mgmt-interface to the other node, this node stops sending through the node_mgmt and cluster_mgmt takes over. I'm confused. Cheers, ConfusedParrotfish

Commvault is triggering ontap snapshot creation/deletion via AIQUM. with MAV rule "volume snapshot delete" this creates an approval request instead of just deleting it. I am wondering if there is any way to exclude this account from this rule. so something like operation="volume snapshot delete" and query="-requested-user=!<AIQUM account>". For the query options I have not found any documentation.
