can snapmirror snapshots be deleted if no data is currently transfering

i did see some snapshots related to snapmirror named by system such as snapmirror-xxxx around, wonder if we can safely deleted them. they become old and occupy space.

Make sure those snapmirror.xxxxx snapshots are NOT baseline snapshots for your snapmirror relationships.

As deleting baseline snapshot leads to snapmirror relationship couldn't be updated any longer.

hi

If no data is transferred, you can delete the snapshot without affecting the data, because the data has been synchronized to the target location ‌. However, the deleted data cannot be retrieved. Ensure that you have backed up the required data before deleting the snapshot to avoid loss of important information
