performance impact during dedup after 8.1.1 upgrade

Hello all:

After we upgraded our fas3240 filers to 8.1.1, we start having performance impact during dedup. Isn't dedup supposed to be a system process and not consume most resources from user operations?

I am thinking of changing the dedup setting to auto instead of scheduled? What does auto means? Does it stop deduplication if there are more user operations?
