problems with options snapmirror.access

Hi there,

I am trying to move to NetApp's "new" way of configuring SnapMirror (and SnapVault) by using options instead of configuring via legacy access and a .allow file.

I can get the configuration to work but when I go to lock down the interfaces it can pass over I get the following errors on primary:

NAP-VPS-01> Mon Sep 12 13:07:16 GMT [NAP-VPS-01: snapmirror.src.sockErr:error]: Cannot accept SnapMirror destination requests: Access denied for SnapMirror/SnapVault destination.

Mon Sep 12 13:07:24 GMT [NAP-VPS-01: snapmirror.src.sockErr:error]: Cannot accept SnapMirror destination requests: Access denied for SnapMirror/SnapVault destination.

Mon Sep 12 13:08:00 GMT [NAP-VPS-01: snapmirror.src.sockErr:error]: Cannot accept SnapMirror destination requests: Access denied for SnapMirror/SnapVault destination.

I have a feeling it has something to do with name resolution, as the source name will be transposed from the hosts file. There are two fabrics in place and I would like the SnapMirror(Vault) to use both links either in a faileover or multi link capacity.

Below I hope I have captured enough information to give people some ideas of the environment and how the two controllers are configured. Any questions please feel free to ask. all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
