same volume name on different aggregate

hi,

i have two different aggregates.  one one of them i have 4 volumes.

is it ok to create volumes on a different aggregate with the same names as volumes on the other aggregate.  this is for a migration.  once i have created volumes and migrated i will be removing the old volumes.

on the same controller is it also possible to have the lun names the same?  from looking as for as i can see aslong as the lun id is different then it maybe possible?  again, i will be removing the luns once i have migrated.

thanks

Volume names on the same controller must be unique. LUN names include full path to LUN, so full path must be obviously unique, but the last part can be the same, i.e. it is quite normal to have /vol/vol1/some.lun and /vol/vol2/some.lun
