Solved: simulator error "The node details were not generated due to an error."

Hi,

When installing simulator version 9.9.1 on vmware workstation pro 16.1.2, I have the following error on the first configuration page.
My system is a surface laptop 3, 4 core CPU and 16 GB RAM.
Is there any way to obtain more info about the error ?

Hi Paul,

No, the problem appears before I can configure anything.
I tried to reinstall many times, the same problem appears.
I tried to install on another system (an ESX) and everything is fine on this one.
So the problem is certainly caused by my system (incompability with another soft ? Windows problem ?), I will close this discussion.

Hard to say. Maybe try installing on a prior version of ONTAP and then do an ONTAP upgrade.
