Hi

i m using ontap 9.7P16 on a six node clusters.

i have put all my colume in thin provisionning.

i can see the physical use of an aggregate but i don't find a way to see the overcommitmment of an aggregate though the cli.

How can i do that?

it s very important to know when one should decide if he can increase the size of a volume or not.

Hi

Hi

thanks for your answer

i don't use ocum

concerning the second solution i don't see a way to make the sum.

i have more than 100 volume on my aggregate.

Shoud i realy do the sum manually?

Ocum is  free & and very useful tool, why not make the most of it.

Hi

my probleme is that i have little manpower to manage my netapp infrastructure.
I have to give simple cookbook rule and simple directive to manage that data on the netapp.
ocum is simply overkill and need some administration.
each time i have tried in the past to use it i find it crashed after some week of usage because of the non administration of it.
people that don't manage netapp on a day basis are lost in it.

It could be an option if one could manage the netapp with it but it s not the case.

that s why i would prefer to use the cli.
only one tools for managing netapp
