"invalid/missing configuration property 'vsa.license'.
Data ONTP startup failed - initiating shutdown.

Hi Arun,
Welcome to communities,
On seeing the error message i have couple of questions
>"invalid/missing configuration property 'vsa.license'.
1. Are you starting the vapp from VC/VI client?
2. Have you done vm setup and given VSA license when -- vm setup wizard prompts for it.
The above error means license was not provided.

HI Venkat,
I fixed it ..the problem was actually with the password instead of 8 char i provided 7 by mistake. But i am suprise how did it allow to accept the password with 7 char and if it accepted then why is the boot problem.
Many thanks to you for quick response.
Thanks
Arun
