We have 2 network interfaces on the filer, e2a and e2b. A CIFS share is created and exported long time ago. all of a sudden share is not acccessible through e2b network interface but is accessible from e2a. We need that to be accessed through e2b network ineterface.

Please help!!!

Hello,

Could you provide the error message seen by the client when attempting to access via e2b

Could you also provide the ifconfig -a output as well please

Are you using Active Directory? and have you upgraded your 7-mode filer to 8.2.5P5?

Please be aware of this change made by microsoft - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/2020-ldap-channel-binding-and-ldap-signing-requirements-for-windows-ef185fb8-00f7-167d-744c-f299a66fc00a - you MUST be running ONTAP 8.2.5P5 to continue using Active Directory authentication for a 7-mode filer.

Hello @RK8,

I'm checking in to see if you are still having issues? @AlexDawson is correct and that you must upgrade to ONTAP 8.2.5P5 to continue using AD with 7-mode ONTAP. Can you share the output that @Reverett requested?

Regards,
