We will upgrading our controller of fas3070 to fas3240? Any experience or any thing that we should do first before we proceed? Do you encounter any error?
They are all a little different for ever swap depending on the disk... It depends if a controller swap on existing shelves or of you are migrating to newer disk shelves. Also make sure you will have support on older shelves and when end of support is for them. We always recommend a ps engagement for a controller upgrade. A PSE who has done it many times and can create an upgrade plan and perform the steps succinctly with minimal downtime.
