Hello community, This is my first post. I'm setting up our first netapp starting with the BES-53248 switches. I have 2 of them. Our environment requires that we use vLans for security. I have everything setup on each individual switch but I don't know how to cluster them together. I have a 100gb connection on interface 0/55 and 0/56
0/55 Enable Auto 100G Full Up Enable Enable long
0/56 Enable Auto 100G Full Up Enable Enable long
The port channel shows as down.
(spfcs01)(Config)#show port-channel 1
Local Interface................................ 1/1
Channel Name................................... ch1
Link State..................................... Down
Admin Mode..................................... Enabled
Type........................................... Static
Port-channel Min-links......................... 1
Load Balance Option............................ 3
(Src/Dest MAC, VLAN, EType, incoming port)
Mbr Device/ Port Port
Ports Timeout Speed Active
------- ------------- --------- -------
(spfcs01)(Config)#
I'm not a big network guy so I'm struggling to figure this part out.
Thanks

I'm glad to hear you found out about the reference configuration files (RCF).
Here's some useful links to check out...
Documentation:
https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-systems-switches/switch-bes-53248/overview-bes53248.html
Compatibility Matrix (to help you decide which EFOS version and RCF version to use):
https://mysupport.netapp.com/site/info/broadcom-cluster-switch
The support contract for the BES-53248 you have is with Broadcom. Here's info on this and how to register support for the switches.

Looks like I missed a step and didn't install the RCF file. Another step closer
