Just to let you know that my knowledge on FAS filer performance is limited. I need some info in regard to CIFS. Our current configuration is 5000 users host on 2x EVA8000 located on different sites (2) in a replication mode (active-active).
Our new configuration will be same has the HP EVA but with 2x FAS6280 in Fabric Metro Cluster configuration . Also It will host critical mission application.
My first question is there some benchmark available on this type of configuration (CIFS)
My second question, Is there any tools that we could used to simulate this type of load on the filer
My third question, is there any best practice for this type of configuration.
