CPU High Usage On my filer FAS8060

Hi Experts,

We are getting CPU usage high to 90% on our filers (nfs protocol), don't know the reason why can anybody help me to reduce CPU hign usaged..

hello:

  Use "qos statistics volume latency show" to determine if the latency is high. If the latency is not high, it is normal for the CPU usage to be high. ONTAP will use the spare background CPU cycles to complete as many background tasks as possible. The following article can help you troubleshoot quickly. I hope it can be of help to you.

a consistant 90% or spikes? 

 

What's the output of sysstat -x look like for each node? 

 

Have you opened a support case?   issues like this can be hard to troubleshoot in the forums.

Hi. Is this the same as CPU utilization is up to 90%,how to solve/reduce the situation ?? No need to double post. I will reply in the other one.
