Can we convert FAS3000 series Filers to V-series

I have a Hitachi HUSVM from where i would like to publish space to FAS3000 series filer, And from FAS3000 filer to the host.

Will the above scenario be possible

Not unless things have changed recently.

V-series and FAS prior to the FAS80x0 series are "different" hardware.

Shane is 100% correct, the V-Series has a different motherboard than the FAS-Series and is a different product number but that has changed with the FAS-8xxx series where now it's a license key.
