My company purchased a FAS2552 with SSD to add a Flash Pool to our current setup. Currently we have a FAS2240-4 with 24 x 3TB drives in 7-mode. The plan is to convert the FAS2440-4 to a disk shelf and have the FAS2552 act as the controllers. My question is, do I need to transition the FAS2240-4 to CDOT before I convert it to a shelf? The FAS2552 is already running CDOT 8.3.
