DFS and Directory of Share locations

We have an issue with one of our Volumes in which we are running out of nodes for DFS to function propperly (Dev team modified their application and it is generating a ton more files than before).

This is the example path we have:

Volume/Share location: \\company.com\Share1

DFS Location: \\Share

Within Share1 we have:
FolderA

FolderB

I would like to move  FolderB to \\company.com\Share2 while retaining the same DFS Path of \\Share so that users are not disrupted.

Is it possible to modify the DFS path of the individual directories of the share? or is this only possible when moving the entire Share.

To achieve what you're aiming for, you need to modify the DFS namespace to reflect the new location of FolderB while keeping the DFS path consistent for users. 

Please reach out to you DFS vendor for this.
