I would like to ask whether this mixed stack refers to: one shelf has HDD and SSD, or one shelf has HDD and the other shelf has SSD connected to the controller.
I have a shelf with SAS hard disks and SSDS, and I need to increase space to add a new shelf. Using NL-SAS hard disks, I can directly pull out the SAS cable of the shelf with SAS hard disks and SSDS, connect it to the new shelf and access the original loop. You still need to add a new loop to connect to the newly added shelf

Hi there, if there are any SSDs and any HDDs in a stack, it is a hybrid stack, so the hybrid rule of 240 drives applies. If you have more than 24 SSDs, you might want a dedicated stack, but it's fine for it to be hybrid.

Sorry for the delay, hope this helps!
