ONTAP Hardware
My friends,
I have two controllers FAS6030 with CPU average consumption on 82%.
It is correct to say that in a failover event in my environment would not be possible?
Thanks
Daniel
What ontap version are you running. Also, are you looking at just sysstat or sysstat -m 1
Once I hear those answers I can better answer, but on the surface you can failover, but you will experience what is called performance degradation HA.
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to check system information on the NetApp Support Site.
Learn to correct an error message when ONTAP reports that a volume is out of inodes because it has reached the maximum files.
