Head swap FAS2554 to FAS8300

Good day!
Please share your knowledge and/or experience, is it possible to replace FAS2554 controllers (converting them into a DS4246 shelf) with FAS8300? I have no questions about the head swap procedure itself, I've read the doc “Upgrade by moving storage”, everything is clear there, replacement looks possible. But maybe I missed something and there is some incompatibility?
