Mixing disk sizes in stack

I know in the Storage Subsystem FAQ the recommendation is only to have a single transition between disk types or IOM modules in a stack.

Does this also apply to disk sizes? For example, would the following configuration be supported?

DS4243 3TB SATA

DS4243 1TB SATA

DS4243 1TB SATA

DS4243 3TB SATA

You are fine to mix disk sizes in a shelf and stack.
