FAS2020-1> fcp start
fcp start: Local fcp cfmode does not match partner fcp cfmode, please correct b
why ?
Refer to http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/san/fcp_iscsi_config/QuickRef/SSICFMODE_1205.pdf
In a clustered system both nodes need to have their target ports set to the same cfmode. To summarise the different cfmodes, which ones to use and where:
cfmode | Supported systems | Benefits and limitations |
---|---|---|
partner | All systems except FAS270, FAS60xx, and systems with 4-Gb adapters |
|
single_image | All systems |
|
dual_fabric | FAS270 only |
|
standby | All systems except FAS20xx, FAS31xx, and FAS200 series |
|
mixed | All systems except FAS270c and FAS60xx |
|

thanks but when he was online all is ok, but when I stop FCP i have this message
When i try to do single_image, he say it's already in single image...
When you log into the other cluster node, what does a "show cfmode" return? Could you confirm that the other node is also in single_image mode?
It's ok !
i think is because i can't use 2 FC port on one node in my FAS2020
