Services Netapp account - Require DOMAD?

We have recently undergone an internal pentest, The results of this found an account within our domain called "services netapp". The credentials were found within the sysvol folder on our domain controllers in an .xml file, thus causing us security issues.

I've tried to view the following thread but receive a message advising "access denied"

Can anyone advise if the Netapp service actually requires domain administrator priveleges?

Thanks

Tom.

Hi Tom,

I not sure what is this account.

I don't have such account in my Active Directory especially with Domain Admin priviledge.

Some NetApp applications running on service account might need administrator priviledge on a particular server but not on the wide domain.

Regards,

Julien
