Steps for changing FAS controllers but with DOT 7-mode on both

Hello folks, can somebody tell me the steps needed for changing an old FAS3220 controller and put instead a FAS2552 controller? Please consider that DOT 7-mode OS will be on the new controller (as on the old one). Thank you in advance.
